Benefits

Victorian AMBA clubs offer a range of different benefits for member families. Those listed below are examples of some of the benefits you can expect from AMBA clubs. Please check with your local club if they provide particular benefits.

If you are currently an AMBA club member and see a benefit that your club doesn’t offer, consider joining your local committee and implementing change!

Expectant Parent Evenings

Many clubs offer an opportunity to meet other parents expecting multiples, and get first hand information about raising multiples!

Family Events

Getting together with families of multiples is a fantastic way to know that you are not alone in your journey!

Newsletters

Most clubs have frequently published newsletters that cover multiple-related issues, club and inter-club events.

Social Events

Getting a night out from the kids is a moment to be cherished. Many clubs run social nights for parents, including dinners or movies.

Playgroups

Most Victorian AMBA clubs offer free playgroups for member families to attend. A great way to get support and make new friends!

Discounts

AMBA has negotiated with many retailers to provide discounts to member families.

Equipment Hire

Some Victorian AMBA clubs offer equipment hire, such as breast pumps or feeding pillows, at fantastic rates for member families.

Bereavement Support

Alongside support given in individual clubs, AMBA State provides access to dedicated bereavement support.

Post-Natal Depression Support

Individual clubs can help refer member families to PANDA for PND support.

State Conference

Victorian clubs help to plan and run the state conference, in line with the AGM. A great way for clubs to share stories and meet new people.

Annual National Convention

The National Convention is run by a different state each year. An amazing event with Keynote speakers, AMBA award presentations and the national AGM.

Educational Events

Many clubs run educational events around topics such as raising multiples, sending multiples to school, and looking after ourselves as parents.

Dad Support

Raising multiples is challenging on both mothers and fathers. Dads of multiples need plenty of support too, and some clubs offer Dad-only events for just this.
